As the sunday night approaches, I cannot but help wishing if the day was a little longer I could do a bit more, no no no a lot more!

Well we all will have 24 hours always and will always try to pack in as much as possible. So the fight is eternal. I have started a few steps to beat the blues, thought would share them with you:

Plan your monday dress in the evening before (Believe me it helps, I for one tend to spend alot of time in front of my cupboard trying to select a dress).

Make sure the dress selected is the one you look best in(What better way to start the week )

Give that rushed breakfast a bit more time(Remember, breakfast is the most important meal of the day)

Leave home early(For some reason I have noticed that there is more traffic on a monday morning)

Noida killings: How safe are we?

When Noida killings were first reported, my initial reaction was that of horror. As amother I could imagine the grief of the affected parents. Could Not imagine how anyone could be so barbaric. But then I think the 2 persons being discussed here are mentally sick.

This sets me thinking how do we protect our children.
Who all come under the scanner of our suspicions: Neighbours, relatives, family members, local grocer, chowkidar. In short ALL.

How do we tell them that they are not to trust anyone? How do we tell them that next time anyone tries to smile at them, offers them a sweet , they should raise alarm.

I read about this on merinews an article contributed by Venkatesan R. But much to our disappointment, we saw almost all animals mentioned on the board outside the entrance gate, except the tiger.

Same was the case with Rajaji National Park, near Haridwar in 1996. We hit jackpot in Ranthombore, in 1999, where we were lucky to not only spot the tiger but in fact spend good time looking at the magnificient creature in all its glory. We were told of all the efforts being made to prevent tigers from becoming extinct. But it's obvious that a lot more needs to be done.

Inspite of the Hullabaloo being made across the globe, we are unable to arrest the poaching.
